Description
The purpose of the HIPAA transactions and
code set standards is to simplify processes and decrease the costs associated
with healthcare services. In this course, we learn about transactions, code
sets, and terms commonly used regarding transactions.
This course teaches more on code and Healthcare Financing Administration
Procedure Coding System (HCPCS). We also
learn more on National Provider Identifiers (NPI), when an NPI is needed, and
its eligibility.
